    Radio repair/upgrade

Thank you! Was really hoping to keep the original appearance. I have presently installed an electronic gismo that takes four hands and a 6 year degree in electronics to operate and after it has been on for 15 minutes squeals like crazy. Totally a piece of junk. Plus it was a pita to install.

I did about a year ago. Picture were taken for an appraisal. Was not happy with the results, but that's another story.

Where is the A/C (ON) light located ??

I see that light and have replaced it with a blue LED. I'm using the Sanden type compressor. Not having their own oil sump like the old cast iron RV compressors, I want to know for sure when the A/C is on. Don't think it will take much to add the wire and light, but want to find an appropriate...

Where is the A/C (ON) light located ??

I'm nearing the completion of a two year total restoration of a 68 Dart GT. Working on the A/C now. In the process, I've replaced the main wiring harness along with any supplemental harnesses. In studying the FSM I find there is a wire and light that will indicated when the A/C clutch is...

    Dumbest question ever asked!

Ok. But is the bolt pattern on the front of the 5.9 the same as the 360? This would include the bolt holes in the heads If so then I could use everything on the front of my 273 including timing cover, p/s and water pumps and alternator brackets?

    Dumbest question ever asked!

Now that I think about it, would that be a 5.9L?

    Dumbest question ever asked!

I said it was the dumbest question. I'm looking for a more current 360. What would that be in the Magnum series.

    Dumbest question ever asked!

You know how it is. Cold in the barn where you store your prized possession. There's work you should be doing on your car but decide to stay in the house where it's warm. Your mind starts to wonder and your thinking of putting a bigger engine in the car. Have been looking for a 360LA with a 727...

    Just Another Old Man

This is my first attempt to load pictures of any kind anywhere on the net. Watch...they'll end on E-bay or face book. The four are of the car as I saw it in California in June of 2017, the last three were taken this July for an insurance appraisal.

How do you adjust the vent window frame

I,m not totally sure, but if you remove the inner door panel, next to the splined shaft the window crank fits to, you'll see a jam nut and screw driver slot adjustment. This has a cam like dohicky, on the inside, that adjusts the up travel of the window regulator.

    Just Another Old Man

New to the forum. Had jumped in awhile ago to offer some help but never really did it the correct way. I'm 67 years old. The first car I drove with a license was Dad's work car. A 62 or 63 Dodge Lancer. In 1968 he bought a new Dodge Dart. If he wasn't in it, I was. The Dart had 167,000 miles on...

Where to find the correct air cleaner base.

Thank You! It's a start for sure. Looks like it might be something I can use to modify the bottom of the original 2bll air cleaner set up.

Where to find the correct air cleaner base.

I'm new to this forum and hobby. I'm in the process of resorting a 68 Dart GT that has a 273 engine. Machine work on the engine is done and is assembled to a short block. I have purchased a Edelbrock 4bll Performer intake manifold and will place a Edelbrock 1403 500cfm carb on top. I'd like to...

Left side lifters not pumping up with oil

Glad I could help. The only way I knew of that plug, was last week I tore my 273 down to send out to the machine shop. I'm new to this forum and habbit (hobby). Been a mechanic all my life. What I need help with is selecting the proper parts (ie: pistons, cam, intake manifold, carb and where to...

Left side lifters not pumping up with oil

If all the plugs were removed at time of rebuild, make sure the plug that can be viewed if you pull the distributor was reinstalled.
