    1989 5.9

I would grab the entire wiring harness, including the dash harness., all sensors trans controls everything on the engine. Be aware if you go with aftermkt fuel sys. and ignition, it is much simpler wiring - BUT the AC thermistor, fuel pump safety cutoff, purge canister, trans kickdown, lockup...

    Hi! stripe question

I have purchased from Phoenix Graphics previously and been pleased with both product and service. OP - Seems pretty simple. You have the original. You have the new. Open the can and compare the two. If they don't meet your requirements deal with vendor. These pissing contests over a picture of...

Using PVC Conduit boxes for switches and relays

After installing a variation of Trailbeast's A500 control system for OD and LU, I wanted to clean up the look of the engine compartment on my Shelby Dakota. Ended up using various size PVC boxes to hide the pressure switches, relays and vacuum switches. Also modified one to hide all of the...

    Bolt kits.

I'm partial to the hex head and locally purchased grade 8. Many of the aftermarket sets are put together without consideration of different accessory bracket combinations or flange thickness differences on factory vs aftermarket intakes and exhaust headers. You can end up with a lot of leftover...

Same here - 65 tri-power GTO. I checked some of my old references and found we could run as high as 68 - 70 jets in all 3 for all out perf. I would be inclined to check your dist curve before messing with the jets too much. If I remember right, most of us had to use the lightest springs and...

    Magnaflow muffler ....

Agreed. Like many enthusiasts, I thought I wanted an aggressive sound, but I underestimated both the noise level and their STATED presence of cab resonance. They are very honest about the noise and resonance levels - don't dismiss/underestimate their descriptions - it was an expensive mistake.

Cleaning the oil pick up without dropping the pan?

Before you jump off the deep end. The 3.9 is generally good for a lot more miles b4 these kind of problems, but they are notorious for bad oil pressure senders. You might want to replace yours b4 getting into everything else. It might save you a lot of trouble and money. Ask me how I know!
