Its not a Demon, but on my swinger I run the 3" inset springs with 10" centerlines, 7.75 offset and 325/50/15 mt, no rubbing, no fender trimming.

I had the same problem on my magnum motor and was using hooker headers. I just dented the header so it would clear. Just for info, I later switched to Dougs headers and they clear with no problem

Those using arp head studs, what did you torque them to?

For those of you using arp head studs, do you remember what torque specs you used, I have one place saying 85 ftlbs and then another saying 70 ftlbs.

The engine runs perfect, no overheating, no missing. I have oil water mixture at top underside of valve covers. No water ever in oil or oil pan. Edelbrock and arp say its common for water to chase up head studs and they are the ones to recomend thread sealer. How else would water get under valve...

Ive run quite a few bikes on the street and not very often come on the loosing end. I'm talking basically stock bikes. Not saying the bikes aren't quick but between street traction and the cajones of the riders they are usually not good for more than maybe low 11s or high 10's
