    a regular oil hose to the vacuum canister can collapse, so there is no vacuum at the booster! they are build for presure not vacum

    How feels the pedal? Spongy to the floor or rock hard with a 1/2 inch travel? Hydraulic ratio could be a issue, a too big mc creates a hard pedal. Glaced brake pads and disc brakes. Whats your setup?

    you dont need to disassemble the tranny, crack the bushing with a small screwdriver, then take a bigger one and open the "puzzle" line. See the fine atop the blue line.

    we used citron acid and hot water since the 90's, it was a official info from Mercedes if we had trouble with a radiator. I used it also in a bike gas tank to remove 30 years old fuel! Looked like brand new after that. Flush twice with fresh water after that.

    i agree totaly, service parts access was a criteria when i bought the kit, no fancy parts and i have to pass a goverment test for antique cars. whats more reliable, Bendix or Ray combined with EBC yellow brake pads?

    The importance of measuring bell housing runout.

    The bellhousing is a part of the engine like a maincap! Mercedes descripes the same procedure for measuring the runout in their workshop manual, so nothing wrong with Lakewood or Chrysler. I had also a popping out 4th gear (A833) because of missalignement. Do your self a favor and correct it. Marco

    lYou mean the bolt in the back?Loosen the nut, hold the bolt, then turn the bolt 2 to 3 revs out. Count exactly! Use brake cleaner and the orange tread sealer like the one in the picture from Mercedes. Im pretty sure its from loctite or 3M. Dont use silicon, the sealer above works with oily...
