anyone have a diagram for one- even for a later year. a friend is looking for one and I don't have a 1975 book.
before anyone points me to Mymopar- they don't have diagrams for any
accessory wiring.
thanks!!!
John Mac
should be there- as during the winter there's no cruzin" up here- so summer is for going places.
Not sure if the Deputy will be going as I have a bunch of parts to "help" others in their beast as I stripped a 72 Sebring and a 74 Sat. car this winter and have no more places to stuff parts...
I'll be bringing a bunch of B body parts, this and that with a buddy this year as I parted out a 74 Sat. and 72 Sebring. might have some e body stuff and some 4 speed stuff for a A body!!!
see ya there-
John mac
yep- bits and pieces and JUNK!
Couple of buddy's and me might get a spot there to sell some extra mopar stuff we have been saving. It will depend on what goes when we are at the Mississauga show and swap- should be there with some goodies!
Sounds normal for a Mopar- Idle speed does have a direct bearing on the amount of voltage to the system. Usually a smaller pully on the alt helps, up the idle speed a bit.
the old alt's only put out power starting around 1200 RPM's below that it can't put out a charge. some of the later...
BEST WAY OF DOING THIS IS TO REMOVE THE CONTROL BOX.
then in the engine bay- remove the reset box- take the two yellow wires and join them and tape. don't tape the yellow wire with the tracer-tape it away! cut the other wires and tape them.
as long as the tranny is in park or neutral it...
Going by a 72 dart wiring diagram.
black wire only goes to the brake switch.
blue with the tracer wire goes to the ballast, voltage reg and one of the field terminals of the alt!
did a seach on the site and no info
where is the vins on a 73 duster.
found only one on the rad support- hard to see it.
car has no dash or door tag or data plate
Thanks
John Mac

Hey MTNEMO-just passing along the dates info to others.
You are correct in it hard to find about the dates- their web site hasn't been updated since last year.
hope to meet up with a few guys along the way down to the Fling.
look for the DEPUTY !!!!!!!
CHECK THE LARGER BLACK WIRE AT THE BULKHEAD CONNECTOR-
melted or bad spade connector.
if it can start and run but no chargering on the amp gauge- many things!
