Appreciate the advice. It was that 8.8 sticky thread that got the thinking about the swap, but I definitely don't have the welding skills to do the job myself. I'm trusting this one to the local rear end shop. They can do it faster and better than I ever could.

How do you like that 1.03 torsion bar? I'm about to pull the trigger, but some hesitation about too stiff of a ride for a regular driver.

I'm just getting started on an engine swap, pulled the slant 225 and started cleaning things up. I noticed the k-member looked a bit banged up, but can't really tell what exactly happened. Is this anything the be worried about, or just paint over and forget?

I couldn't do it, had to laugh with the race harness hooked up to the headrest. the kid is clearly crazy, but props for some ingenuity and creativity.
