    Valve train geometry

    My roller rockers don't center up on the valve stem. I can't shim them up because it puts it closer to the edge and can't lower them because there mounted on pedestal's. What option do I have? AND besides wearing out my guides quicker, how bad would it be to run it like this? 1971/ 318LA...
