Going to new tailpipes soon. Currently my temporary pipes exit on an angle behind the rear tire. Should I have them exit like they are now or go out the rear like the factory did?

Converter has about 2500 street miles on it. They built it a little “loose” to get a stock engine to respond better down low. It was built for a cruise night style car. Stalled 2800 behind a 5.2 with 3.55’s and around 3000 behind a 5.9. $400 Located in Connecticut.

Wondering if High PS pump pressure is the cause of a “loose” on center feel with the Borgeson steering box. I checked all the steering components for play and didn’t find any. The steering pump is a reman’d unit from a 2000 Dodge pick up

Just finished up a DIY gauge cluster with New Vintage CFR series gauges. Below is a photo dump of the steps it took to get it done.

For those of you that are DIY’ers. Which is more difficult to do? A bow style headliner or a Vinyl top? I finished up with my headliner and happy with how it came out. Wondering if I should tackle the Top myself

I’m installing a headliner in a 1971 Dart. All the bows are fine except the front one. It keeps collapsing as I’m not holding tension. Any one know a quick fix or the reason why it does this? You can see in the photo how straight the seem is compared to the next one back which has the curve to it

They sent the wrong one and it’s too late to return it. Has number 73-7125 on it. It’s a 4 bow headliner $50

I believe they are 6 cylinder springs. New pads and clamps installed and a quick coat of paint. Have new rear bushings for them. FREE to anybody who picks them up in Connecticut. Photo below is how the car sat with the springs installed

Has anyone had good luck with reman heads from an online source? Ebay, Amazon, Allied, Clearwater Etc...this would be for a non performance application

Would it throw off the balance if I took off around .060-.100 of the flex plate ring? It bottoms out against the PTC convertor before the mounting lugs do. When I tighten it up you can see the flex plate "bend" until the bolts bottom out.

I'm looking for smoked glass for my 71 Dart. Does anyone know where I'm able to buy a full set of glass? I see that it's available for Dusters. Last option, I would buy clear glass and have them lightly tinted.
