    Disk brake steering knuckle

I do r i do remember the early stuff using small ball joints (63-66 maybe) but wasn’t quite sure on when things changed. I do remember my dart having big ball joints with the fist brakes but completely forgot about them changing over to sbp so he would have a mismatch on the bolt pattern. But...

    Disk brake steering knuckle

Thanks 72. Trying to get him rolling as soon as possible but didn’t want to jump out there and replace parts on my charger ( spending money in areas I’m not ready to yet) sooner than I wanted to. I’m thinking his best bet is to find the whole drop out unit from the same car. I might start a...

    Disk brake steering knuckle

Hey guys. My uncles purchasing 2 1971/72 dusters. One has no front suspension at all. The junk yard he’s pulling from has some darts/dusters that has upper and lower control arms. Would he be able to take the upper/lower control arms from a car that had drum brakes and use a disk brake steering...

Glad that worked out. I’m South Carolina they don’t allow us to buy cars out of salvage yards typically. Mine came out of a salvage yard but the owner is 80 something and didn’t care. But sc won’t take a bill of sale only unless it came from a state that domt Issue a title or a title is...

Yeah I saw an ad on this. Thankfully I was able to get my registration done. My tags came a couple weeks ago and the registration came last week. I barely got in there. Sucks they are not stopping this outside of VT but sounds like there were a lot of stolen cars going through the program and...

    Ac in a 1975 dart

Ok awesome. I might be good to go then. I kept all of the under dash stuff. Just removed under hood stuff when I swapped it from a slant six to 318.

    Ac in a 1975 dart

Hey guys. Looking at adding ac in my dart before too long. I have a 1975 dart swinger with a 318. It used to have ac but I’ve removed all the ac stuff from under the hood (probably 15 years ago). All of the kits I see online only go up 1972. Is there a reason I couldn’t use a kit designed for a...

    [WANTED] Throttle nut/ stud

Second try, hopefully it’s finally posted on the correct area… but who knows … Anyone have the stud that screws into the carb and the throttle cable attaches to? I’m in need of one if anyone has one laying around.

Yeah the video I watched with uncle Tony said they use nada not what you paid ( unless what you paid is higher) haha. Definitely different that’s for sure.

I think it’s a legit junk yard that may be the case. This guy is an old guy that’s collected cars for years. It’s a junk yard in that sense but not the kind that has a crusher and heavy equipment. He just keeps his cars in the woods so most people don’t even know they are there. I’ve lived here...

Thanks man. I was going to run a vin check on it just to be safe. The old man is super nice, so I’m sure it’s legit but better safe than sorry. He already told me he wasn’t interested in trying to get a title. He just likes having out at his office and talking to people, really cool guy but...

You may be correct on that. I’m not concerned with resale to be honest. I’ll restore it but plan on enjoying the car, it definitely won’t be a trailer queen haha. I did run across a video ( I think it was roadkillcustomes or something like that) they were with uncle Tony going through the...

Thanks man! I appreciate the feedback. I’ve never bought a car without a title before and was kinda iffy on this process. I do feel better about it now.

Yes sir, I’ll definitely update the thread. I did find an awesome Video from roadkillcustoms with uncle Tony on there explaining the process. I feel better about the process offer watching the Video.

In sc you can still get full coverage but it depends on the insurance carrier. But the whole title thing is going to suck. I just went through this on my uncles 1966 Plymouth. He passed away and but I was able to title it in sc with a ga bill of sale. If it hasn’t been titled before the dmv...

Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct place to posts this so my apologies. I’ve got an old guy that owns a junk yard that’s willing to sell me a 71 charger but he does not have title for it. I know in South Carolina that will be an issue. Has anyone had experience going through the Vermont...

[WANTED] 1964 valiant tail light lenses

Hey guys, my uncle is looking for tail light lenses for his 64 valiant. If anyone has any (driver qualify is fine, he isn’t building a show car but does need lenses) please let me know and if possible forward a price and photo and I can show him what is available. Thanks in advance for any help.

    1966 valiant 903

Awesome thanks for letting me know. This was my uncles car, he didn’t get to start on it too much before he passed. I’ll play around with it and see what happens. Regardless I’m eventually going to pull the /6 and rebuild and make sure all the hard to reach areas at fixed up too.

    1966 valiant 903

Thanks for the reply. I can get a better pic of the z bar. It’s a slant six I’m not sure that matters with slant six/273 applications? I got the car a bout a year go, it was working fine but jumped in one day to move it in the yard and that’s when the clutch started having that issue. Thanks for...
