I ordered another new sending unit from "Laysons Restorations"...they seem reliable but also said there are NO sending units made in the USA. I will adjust this new one so it is right(with my Ohm meter) I will have to find the specs...I did check my wire coming from the gauge and when I ground...

Think I have it - thanks for all the ideas! I bought a stick of 2.5" defrost hose; fits on the top vents and bought a stick of pvc for a bushing on the bottom vent duct; I didnt realize they were 2 different sizes til you told me! Have it fixed...thanks again- and yes- I took the passenger side...

Glenn...what did you do? I dont know if a 2" by 2.5 bushing would do it? The duct in the car measures 2.25 on the ID and under 2.5" on the OD....

Well I just got another surprise! I bought 2" hose to replace my defrosters hoses today- when I pulled one out- guess what? They are different size on each end! Never seen this before in all my days; can you tell me where I can find these? Thanks.
