Stop in for a cup of coffee

I found the roundy round interesting in that we have always been told to give the right of way to the car to your right - not now, yield to someone from the left. Here I blame politics. I will not yield to the left. Sorry in advance Mike.

Yes, just right there. Nope go there, cross 187 lanes of traffic going 50mph. Thats safer and makes way more sense.

Oh, then there is the Michigan Left hand turn near Detroit/Troy area at least. Makes perfect sense to right to go left. Change a ton of lanes and merge into high speed traffic.

For comparison, if I was breaking in a new engine today, at work. I would run like this, no stop in between, just increase throttle.. Idle for 15min 2000 for 15min 2500 for 15min 3000 for 15min 3500 for 15min 4000 for 15min 4500 for 15min 5000 for 15min WOT for 1hr..

Stop in for a cup of coffee

As for RPM and break in? Our engines are very different - OHC and roller everything, but concept is the same. Like I mentioned, keep it varied RPM for the first ~500 miles. I would stay below 2500-3000 for the most part. Then change oil and gradually raise RPM range as miles add up. It used...

I tend to go 500 miles trying to vary rpm. In town and country driving going thru the gears. Stay away from long highway constant rpm driving.

Good morning everyone. Had issues steering on the way home from work. Checked everything over and it seems I had a ujoint on the driver's side in the front axle locking up. Dammit. Tore it down and replaced the ujoint. NOT how I planned to spend my evening. Right at 2hrs is pretty good tho...

Appreciate some input on spark plug reading

Here is some info I found a while back. Read through it. Your plugs look pretty good to me overall> When observing deposits on the sides of the center electrode. The deposits here should only be light after a lot of miles on the engine. If the deposits are building up with a few runs the plug...
