I appreciate that but I am far from a master fabricator. Car is a great 10 footer , but a bit raggedy here and there. Testing has begun on the duster. First attempts were clutch shake down and adjustment. Started with a 1.47 60 foot ): and last night pass was a 1.37. Getting there. Best pass was a 9.90 at 134 mph. Facebook video:

The Top Fuel car on display, I was a sad panda leaving it there. I will miss having it in the garage to stare at. I'll just have to make the 45 min trip to look at it for a while and I don't have to pay to go in the museum ever again!

Six pack hood off the Dust Turd, pin on from unlimited Fiberglass, no damage and has rt & lt underside reinforcement added. Front bumper with aluminum bolts and brackets. Bumper has a chunk out in the middle but not structural, easy fix. Hood 300.00, bumper 75.00 picked up in central Florida.

Buster is very close to a trip to the track, waiting on a new Ram 8" dual; disc clutch assy to replace the crower 3 disc. The crower assy weighs 70 pounds and overkill vs and the Ram dual @ 33 pounds. Should have just spent the 4K up front but oh well. Bought a new Tempte EZ load trailer and...

Front end painted, mounted and wired. On the trailer to go to the front end shop in the AM. Drove it around today for 30 min, hehehehehe:)

Using a cross bar covered with an aluminum panel up front to support the fender spacing and grille.

Started working on the front end mounting couple weeks ago.

Next was the belly pan and janky drop down to clear the clutch linkage. Got the wheelie bars welded up and had to make a upper mount for them. Used the ladder bar bracket and made an adjustable upper mount so I can go up or down 3/4" if needed.

Car is 99% done and here is some more photos of the progress. Added 2 engine limiters from the frame to the mid plate/ bellhousing

Windsheild is now in and front fiberglass mocked up. I will work on that and should be ready for paint in a week or so.

Clutch and trans worked flawlessly! Yes, pulling levers while spining the tires is f****** great! Driving a car with no doors, floors, windsheild or front sheet metal is also fun, like driving the Flintstone mobile.

Now........... the clutch and trans debacle. Holy crap, what a pain in the *** to make everything play nice. Bought a 10" 3 disk Crower pro sportsman clutch from a pro mod and had Crower reface the titanium pressure plate and floaters. Had to have a 6 bolt flywheel made as the one...

and...wires and dash. Wanted to not have anything showing for electronics and simple old school SW black face gauges. With that goat rope of wires, everything works correctly!!! I wrote down what each wire/color is but don't want to need that info...ever. :)
