Rear suspension update: my buddy came over to weld the cross member in for the RMS coil-over kit, looks like it'll be on all 4 wheels this week and ready to swap in the 408. Then it's the big push to get the Dart back on the road and the bugs worked out, again. The new seats also showed up.

UPDATE: I spoke with my engine builder and he's going to warranty his work. He's giving me a new block, crank, rods, cam, lifters and replace the junk piston.

Im leaning towards that direction, my 89 W250 needs a motor and that thing doesn't need loads of power so the hemi may end up in there. That or ill just store it and build it when the cost of parts goes down.

I just watched the Hot Rod garage episode that they put a gen 3 in a duster but put a carburetor on it. If I'm doing the swap, I want to take full advantage of direct port fuel injection. Just sucks it cost so much for mopar guys to do modern engine swaps

My buddy and I are good, body wise car is perfect however I sent a rod through the bottom of the block. Pulled the passenger head earlier, no damage on that side but theres chinks of cast steel in the lifter valley so hopefully it's just chunks of the block and not the piston

I spent 8 hrs doing all 4 rims, test fitting, measuring and sanding. 100% perfect fit in my case, no vibrations at 90mph.

They are the right bolt pattern but the center bore is smaller...ran into this issue with the 17x8s I'm running. I had to use a rotary bit to open up the bores enough to fit.
