    NHL 23-24

The Jets need to make the Avs play their game of defense first. The run and gun style of last night's game is fun to watch, but it isn't what got them to this point.

    NHL 23-24

I hate to say this but Colorado really needs a goaltender, Georgiev gave up 7 on 21 shots. Pretty hard to beat anyone in the NHL when you aren't able to stop them from scoring. That's 14 goals in the last 2 games the Jets have scored against the Avs. Sure, Colorado has all kinds of offense, but...

Sunny and 55* today, but a bit breezy, wind gusts up to 53 mph. I was out cutting down some small saplings that were too close to the fence and power lines, that was after the grocery run. And lunch. LOL

US and CA heater core differences?

When I was a kid I remember being told that convertibles had a bigger heater than other cars to keep the occupants warm in the winter. Made no sense to me, but it seemed like some people believed it.

The viscous clutch drive allows the fan to 'freewheel' when it is not needed to cool the engine, which reduces parasitic drag on the crankshaft, freeing up power. I don't know about 15 hp, but it does help, I have used them on my Darts and been happy. I definitely notice a difference when the...

Best plan right there.^^^^^^^^ If nothing else you'd have a lot of spare parts for future use.

Ford 4.9 question. Yes ford question

You might have to go back to the early 80s to find an F100 or F150 with a 4.9 and manual steering, my dad had an 81 long ago with a 4.9, 3 on the tree, and "armstrong steering". I too like the bricknose generation, my 1990 Bronco.

Good to see that the builder has cleared up any confusion about your engine and does in fact offer a warranty on there work. You have to be getting really excited to burn some rubber.

Almost as entertaining as a boat ramp.

I find it hard to watch some so-called 'professional drivers' who can't back up if their lives depended on it. I've been driving since the age of 10, though I didn't have to back up any trailers until I actually had a license, and been a commercial driver for 35 years now. What messes me up a...

Oh hell yeah! The script and the acting was pretty crappy, but the action was fantastic, no cgi bullshit, it was all real, and some was unplanned. The scene where the Mustang spins out on the freeway and hits the light pole was not part of the script, but they kept it in the final edit. I have...

If your existing differential is not repairable, or too costly to fix, a b body 8.75 or 8.25, or a Ford 8.8 from a Ranger pickup, or an Explorer are also options, with varying costs involved. The Ranger will have 28 spline axles and drum brakes, and the Explorer will have disc brakes, 31 spline...

Sounds a little bit strange that they won't stand behind their work. Every engine shop I've dealt with has offered some warranty, unless it's a race engine.

An a body 8.75 differential is typically a fairly expensive piece when you find them. I sold a bare housing last year for $500.00. I've seen them for sale here on FABO for anywhere between $750.00 to $2500.00, depending on the condition.

1968 Dart sudden rear end noise.

Smallest rear axle in a b body was 8.25 to the best of my knowledge. The 7.25 was a very light duty piece that would last forever behind a slant 6, but it doesn't live as long with a V8, even a bone stock 273 or 318 has enough torque to wear it out. Lots of a bodies had 8.25 differentials, but I...
