[FOR SALE] 67 Dart Gt standard dash bezel set- $120.

Selling the dash bezels from a '67 Dart Gt convertible. Non a/c, standard knob style radio. As you can see the chrome is virtually non existent but the pieces are all in nice shape. No cracks or gouges that I can see. The clear plastic is nice and very polishable. The radio holes are original...

    Does anybody make these?

Lol. That's the best one. Most were rusted beyond use or broken. Believe me, I have been using up brain cells trying to figure a way to get this to work. I'm almost out of them now.:BangHead:

[WANTED] 1967 Dart GT trunk finish panel molding clips

Looking for the clips that hold the 4 moldings that mount above and below the trunk finish panel. Not the finish panel itself but the separate moldings. They look like this....

    Does anybody make these?

Thanks. Those are the clips for the finish panel. Not the moldings that go above and below the finish panel. I will post a wanted ad. I thought someone would make them but I'm guessing there isn't a huge demand for them. I think a lot of guys replace the panel and molding with the one piece...

    Does anybody make these?

Thanks. Had a look. They have very little in the way of 67 dart parts and definitely no molding clip. Sigh.....

    Does anybody make these?

Thanks. I looked at those but the 68-69 panel is one complete unit while the 67 is smaller with separate moldings above and below it so it doesn't work. One year only conundrum. :BangHead:

    Does anybody make these?

1967 Dart GT trunk molding clip. The moldings that go above and below the trunk finish panel. As you can see the stud is offset from center. I can't seem to find them anywhere and mine are junk.

Anyone modified a 68-69 dart tail light pocket to fit a 67?

Since they don't make the tail light frame for a '67 Dart, I thought about modifying a new '68-'69 one to make the tail light fit. I'm installing a new quarter but the old pocket is destroyed so badly it can't be fixed. The general shape is the same other than how the tail light fits in. I'm...

    Swapping bench to buckets

Hmmmm. Aren't the holes in different spots? And didn't the bench only have 4 holes overall? I may be wrong on that.

Single stage paint job.. no shine

I can't really tell the extent of the flatness from the photo but a polish might bring some of the shine back, but you can't really cut too far into into the finish without running the risk of cutting into the metallics which will leave streaks that you can't fix. I would try a small corner that...

Single stage paint job.. no shine

Could be several things, not the least of which could be too much reducer or got cold or damp immediately after spraying. That's a silver. You can't wet sand single stage metallics without streaking the metallics. A light polish might do it but it's hard to tell from a photo.

Removal and reinserting terminals in harness block

Not sure if you mean this, but to remove a connector from this type.... You need to insert a small blade screwdriver into the little slot slot above the the terminal like this... The idea is to push the little tab down that you see in this pic, then pull the terminal out. Sometimes it...

    Windshield Leaks

Damn. My apologies. I lied. After I posted, I started second guessing my self and went out to the shop to check. There is a little square hole on either side but mine didn't have any rubber or sealant in it when I removed the windshield.

    Windshield Leaks

I believe the lead is factory as it fills the seam between the pillar and the cowl top. The little square hole I can't help you with. My car doesn't have that. Maybe a guide of some type for the glass gasket?

Is it too late to fix these floor boards

If I was going to go through the trouble of welding in new pans, I would paint them properly, then apply your rust protection. Linex works fine, but you need to paint them first. You are in the same climate as me so a thorough repair and refinish are necessary to make it last.

Is it too late to fix these floor boards

Yes, what he said ^^^^^. Those floors are done as far as strength and integrity are concerned. Can you grind them and fiberglass them? Yes, but that's a hackers method and not the right way to fix them.

67 Convert from a hard top?

If I had a spare beater to use as a guineapig, I'd try it. It could be done, but a practice run would be prudent, especially if you had to undo something you already did.

    Plastic Grill Housing Repair

I believe you are talking about the black piece that the egg crate portion fit onto. That can be repaired with fiberglass as I have done it. It's not a ideal situation to only apply to one side but it does work and it doesn't see too much wear and tear. Unless of course there are pieces missing...
