    How to mount headlight switch?

In looks, the headlight knob is attached to the rod that releases from the switch. Not sure, but don't think that you can them separately?

    23 or 18 spline?

Glad that you all understand this, I do not speak Greek, and most all of it is Greek to me. Some day, but, it is what it is.

    Bayonet shifter - won't give!

Also, try pushing straight down on the shifter handle when inserting the feeler gauge, then up, wiggle, up and down. You do have to work it in there. I just checked mine, the tang that you are trying to push back isn't much thicker than the feeler gauge that you are using. May help to not...

340 duster 4 speed clutch pedal?

Most people complain that their clutch pedal is too low. That spring is the heavy duty spring.

    Bayonet shifter - won't give!

Use a thicker gauge if you can. Keep playing with it, that's how you do it. I don't have a lever in front of me, are you in the correct side? Lube it?

Timing chain set for the street/driver?

I have had my Rollmaster in for 3 years, have the engine out now, timing chain is still tight.

    Installed this last weekend

My stamped pan doesn't leak, the flanges need to be checked and flattened just like an oil pan. I drilled a hole in mine in a correct place, welded a nut in and used an oil pan drain plug. The cast covers are nice though, no arguing that.

    Another NPK question

I am not begrudging the racer, it's the fee's of the in-between guy. They are no different than a scalper going in and buying up seats at one price, then standing out front selling them at their price. It's just the way that I view it, but it is what it is.

    Another NPK question

I just decided to get my tickets for the Cordova NPK race, a little over $30.00 fees attached to the ticket price? Is this normal? That's almost 1/2 the ticket price.

340 exhaust heat shield needed for Van's to repop.

And....... What about the 318 shields, 340's won't work on a teen, less you change the heads. I was lucky that a friend had one hanging on the wall in his garage, it's on my '72 Dart now.

    Upholstery

I just finished my '69 Road Runner buckets. I had my seat frames sandblasted, they were pretty gnarly. Repainted. The seat tracks were junk, and one set was from another mfr, lucky they reproduce them. Bought new molded seat foam, couldn't get the seat back covers over the new foam on...

    NPK

Thank you for the responses. As is with all tracks there is a pit side and a spectator side of our track. They can close the crossover. Thought that if I got the lower general admission ticket, I could get stuck on that side. Do not understand the foat.com site at all. Not a computer person.

    NPK

Has anyone here been to a NPK's event? They are going to be at the local dragstrip in June. They don't say where you be seated, or if you are free to walk around and look at the cars. Not paying that kind of money to be glued to a seat if I can't walk around. All that I know is a friend drove...

    Intake Manifold Gaskets

Yeah, pitch the cork China rail seals. Set the intake on and see what you have, can you get the intake bolts in or started? Also, though they will work, there's a big difference between 273/318 and 340/360 intake gaskets. Exhaust ports between the two are really different vertically, I...

    Intake Manifold Gaskets

Trying to figure how you got that kinda gap at the intake. Stock 273/318 intake gaskets are shim gaskets, about .015. Your intake gaps should have gotten tighter.

    Headlight Relay Kits

I have Crackedbacks harness in my '69 from a couple of years ago. Not sure about the taillights, but will definitely brighten your dash lights up. Would like to do my 2 other cars, but I am not into making it up from a pile of parts.

Someone here in the past mentioned that the new solid state IVR didn't work as well as an orginal. I don't remember who. I had replaced my circuit boards because of a missing pin. The new circuit board came with a new solid state IVR. My fuel gauge was always lazy, I have a reconditioned...
