    Disowning Family Members

As many has stated. This story, unfortunately is not unique. It shows that a sound "Will and Testimony" can prevent alot of family discourse. But that is also easier said than done. Real estate is actually the easier part of that process. Investments and personal items can be tricky. Just look...

Fond of A Bodies even though I own a B Body

I've never owned a small block Mopar. Most due to circumstances. But I've been eyeing some as late. I was minutes late on a '67 fastback Baracuda 4-speed with its original 273 commando. I REALLY wanted that car!

Does look nice. But the tool man in me says. "Look at all that room!" Lol.

Yup. Nothing wrong with enjoying its intent.

Purdy. Omaha Orange? For me? The 318 setup makes your car a very good candidate for a Gen III hemi transplant? So may options. So little time. JMO

Fond of A Bodies even though I own a B Body

My current stable is one A-body. One B-body and one E-body. For those looking to enter the Mopar classic car arena for first time? Hands down I recommend A-body. Even though the word is out. And their prices are also rising. They are still best bang for your dollar. Just my 2 cents.

DOES YOUR NEIGHBOR ALWAYS WANT TO BORROW SOMETHING?

I find neighbors much more respectful. It's family/friends. I have a pet peeve about tools. My kids and friends know this. Yet every year I'm missing counts. I'll give my coat I'm wearing to someone who is cold. But leave my tools out of your thoughts. I spent ALOT of money. That others don't...

    My Dad's 67 Satellite- A bittersweet day

That's one of the nicest first Gen Satellites I've seen. Hiding some extra muscle under the hood to boot. Parkinson is one of those unfair diseases to inflict on anyone.

To Sell or Part Out my 68 Formula S Barracuda?

The last car I parted out due to the parts were worth more than the whole was a '66 GTO in 1986. Today? It would be crazy. Today classic pony/muscle cars it's opposite. The whole is worth more than the sum of its parts. I made a whole $1500 profit. Believing I was parts king of the world...

Poll: Do traction bars help out Mopar leaf springs or not

On wheel hop I agree. Which I'm sure springs are not happy when bouncing like that.

Poll: Do traction bars help out Mopar leaf springs or not

Never had on a Mopar. On a Chevy they worked somewhat. But it's old technology. I've done very well with SS springs and a snuber for pinion support on a 10 sec 3000lb Duster. I believe once your build gets into the 9s and faster where chassis certs and licensing becomes more apparent? Then a...

Red 1968 Barracuda Fastback at the Royal Oak Mi. estate sale.

That car would be interesting enough just on the possibility. A red '68 fastback 340 S 4-speed? That maybe one of those one in a lifetime finds. No sin bidding $20k.

    A 833 output shaft question 26 spline

That was from a 727. Stock precision u-joint. Point. If an automatic can do this? An A833 would likely be rougher on the parts. Thus I believe is the weak point of the driveline.

How many of your personal cars ended up in junkyards?

The only car I sold was my first GTX after 4th child was born. To buy a freaking minivan! I did what I had to do. But bought another 6 years ago to make up for that sin. And to arrest the bad dreams due to that sale. After kids grown. All other cars scraped or sold as parts car. I am end of the...

How many of your personal cars ended up in junkyards?

All. (OK, not entirely true.) But most. After I stripped them for the valuables after I beat the crap out of them. Only recently I've been more conscious. But haven't sold yet. Lol.

70 dart 470 ci drag car build.

Are you targeting any index or racing class? If so in my neck of the woods tire size is a condition to many bracket type competitions. We have a "King Street" class that only allows 10.5" slick. Or I believe a 12" DOT. The last I heard a car out of one of the bigger garages got under 8 sec. And...

70 dart 470 ci drag car build.

My last adoption was this cat. My son bought it home when a girl he liked could no longer care for. The cat was 15 years old. Poor eye sight. Barely could hear. And was unable to even jump up on a couch. And of course this now became my issue. Lol. I remember saying. "She is half dead?" But I...

Thinking about buying this magnum what do you guys think?

That's not out of the question. Compression test is simple enough. If solid and consistent? Again, a lower risk swap is possible.

Thinking about buying this magnum what do you guys think?

I agree. Assuming it's just a little tired at 140k mi with no major damage? (Which is likely.) If price is right it's likely a low risk purchase.

70 dart 470 ci drag car build.

My big track a Brainerd Int Raceway will ask if an aftermarket flex plate is used. And if a tranny blanket. I can truthfully answer yes to those questions. Are they current to today's SFI standards? That I have not been asked. But I bet if car does ever go under 9.90? That topic will be get...
