With the swap what do I need to be expecting? What parts should I expect to buy and how much will I be spending to swap it? With any budget left over what are some suggestions for more low end torque power performance parts? Also should I run stock cam if I do cam advance?

So would my best option with my budget just be upgrade the top end with Cam advance?

Is there a way I can stroke the 318 but run stock connecting rods and pistons? If I can do the bottom end on a budget I'd do that but everyone says to upgrade the whole bottom end?

Okay that sounds nice, more on the swap side of things, I've heard of mini turbos but are there any that can give boost at low levels of rpm? I'd like to play around with some engine building either way, so what about a 5.9 mag w/ new valve springs? Also is the heads on it good leaving stock...

See I've looked into that swap, I guess my opinion on that is I like carburated engines because I have tried to work with FI engines it seems harder. Would the magnum take a straight carb swap and would it be worth it? If so, for the 5.9 what carb would you suggest?

Would running either of those stock be good enough? I thouhgt about the Magnum heads but they require the intake.
