[WANTED] Door Glass Channel Seals/Weatherstrip, with slides

Good luck, I was told in early January by various vendors that those won’t be available till late spring or summer. Apparently the manufacturer is retooling to make a better product. The fellas over at Dante’s was able to locate a set of the white plastic glides for me, so a big shout out to...

How do you fix/remove rear window surround trim?

Find a shop where there’s a guy who knows how to rope in a rear window. He’ll know how to remove the window trim. Its usually going to be the guy that’s 50+ in age unless he’s passed on the art. Make a few phone calls, the answer is out there.

    Tire mfg date code/sales

I don’t think that there’s a law from retailers selling new, older tires. The articles that I read which were dated in 08’ & 2014 mentioned that they tried to introduce legislation prohibiting the sale of tires 6yrs or older, but the tire industry fought it and won. So the short of it is, from...

your thoughts ? 17"-18" wheels with 10" rear drum brakes ?

^^^ What he said. Paint them black. These are 17’s with an 11” drum. When they’re spinning you can’t tell if they’re disc or drum brakes, and when just sitting there, they nearly disappear. My fronts are Wilwood disc. Just make sure the backspacing is correct so you don’t have fitment issues...

Who do you guys use for shipping a car?

Several years ago when I relocated, I contacted several National carriers to transport a 30’ Ford 5 window coupe I had. It was better than driver quality but less than show quality, if that makes sense. So I thought I’d have it transported in an enclosed trailer due to it was winter and it was...

Need a Paint Job on my 67 Dart!!

Maaco is a good choice for low budget, driver quality paint jobs. The more prep work you can do yourself, the better experience you may have. Seems that with Maaco, the quality of work depends on that particular shop and how much they pay attention to detail. If you know of anyone in your area...

    Vent frame/removal

I found that out myself. If it weren’t for 72Dart6pack, I’d still be wrestling with that window. I finally got it out, but you’re right, its a bugger! A ‘TIP OF THE HAT’ to you fellas that know how this all works. :thankyou:

    Vent frame/removal

I’ve read all the posts about removing the vent frame, so I’m good on taking it out. But I’m stuck on getting the pesky adjust screw out. My question is, the front adjust screw on the lower front of the vent frame, does it turn counter clockwise to remove it? Also, do you remove it completely...

    Welding Blankets

I think they all use some form of woven cloth, whether its made up of fiberglass, kevlar, carbon fiber or anything else you can think of. They use those materials because of the resistance to heat and fire. Silica is nothing more than sand ground up into a fine powder. No, i haven’t used a...
