Gauging interest in making new alternator voltage regulators

I was just curious of his qualifications to do this job, that's all (some call it doing "due diligence"). And usually something custom made by hand on a one or two at a time basis tends to lack a bit on the quality control side of things. Anyone can throw together some questionable parts and...

Gauging interest in making new alternator voltage regulators

Curious as to your educational credentials in the electrical field to qualify you for this type project? Also, considerable manufacturing experience would be required as well. Hand building units on a onesy twosy basis doesn't lend a lot of credibility to your effort. And like others have...

Exactly what makes a MOPAR a "Matching Numbers" car?

Well, you go ahead and say whatever you want to say..........factory 70 Hemi Duster.........sure thing! But sorry, I'll BELIEVE whatever I want to believe, and not necessarily what you tell me to believe. Real shame you don't still have that factory 70 Hemi duster, you'd be a very wealthy...

Some mighty big stories there, pics or (as they say) it didn't happen.

NOT MINE: Chrysler 300 in Central Missouri

300 sport model had a 383 as standard. The 300K letter car had a 413 standard engine. The posted car does not appear to be a "letter" car.

NOT MINE: Chrysler 300 in Central Missouri

Not a "300 Letter" car, its a "300 Sport" which is a much lesser model than the letter cars. So the 2 barrel intake is probably stock as they came with smaller engines than the true letter cars. But even so, the sport models didn't come with a "chain steering wheel".

    Scored 67 valiant

Great little car, and a two door as well. I had a '67 back in the '70's and up till about '80 or so, but mine was a 4 door grocery getter. Well, I did drive it to work every day for several years too. Damn good little car, mine was a Super 225 that ran perfect and never gave me any trouble...

    Riding lawn mowers

Yes, Wheel Horse was always a good brand. Of course, they are now Toro. Toro bought them out back in the '90's IIRC (it was actually 1986). A neighbor was an engineer for Wheel Horse in South Bend at the time and took his retirement when the merger happened.

    Riding lawn mowers

I guess I've never seen the "real style" Husqvarna's then. Dad's is a 48" cut tractor style with a 23 hp Briggs & Stratton engine, so its the MTD type rider tractor. Actually, now that I think about it, my Toro dealer also sells Husqvarna. So that is probably the "better" Husky's you are...

    Riding lawn mowers

Some keep mentioning the Husqvarna mowers and showing repairs made to them. That's all well and good if that's what you want to do, repair **** all the time. My father owns a Husqvarna rider and I've had to use it to mow his place for him for a couple years now. That is, when I can keep it...

    Riding lawn mowers

6-7 years ago I bought a Toro MX5060 from a Toro dealer. Zero turn 50" mower with a 23 hp Kawasaki engine with fabricated and welded deck. Very good machine, no regrets on this one. It replaced an 18 hp 48" MTD rider like most of the ones previously mentioned from the big box stores. No...

    Hot Mopar Babes III

Woman's shoes......... did they have that kind of heels back then? I think that's a more modern version (with the thick platform type heel) of the '50's-'60's spike high heels that were worn back in that era. But then, I'm no expert on women's shoes. Driver's car door........ door latch...
