Woops. It's 11/16 and 23/32. And this carb ran great til I rebuilt it, so something just isn't right that's in there, replacing it would be silly. Especially when I have two and it's just this one issue.

I'm gonna buy a couple of the 11/16 caps. All the ones I have currently are the 22/32 ones. Hopefully they arrive before the snow gets here!

yup when i do this i get plenty of shots coming out. even in the morning ill get a couple shots coming out, it will idle for about a second or two then die and then i get no more shots coming out. im starting to wonder if the float is sticking up and the car running shakes it loose? i wish...

For good measure I just went out and disconnected the line after the fuel filter and cranked it for a bit and its gushing out plenty and the fuel looks good, so that's not the issue.

No the tank has never been dropped as far as I know. Definitely won't be able to do that before winter though that's for sure.

Fuel filter was replaced a year ago....about 5000 miles since But maybe I'll replace it again just in case.

yep this bolt has little wings on it. even then the bolt is WAY smaller than the diamond. it just turns and has a ton of space. If i was a smarter man I would have taken a pic with the bolt in the diamond shaped to see the difference in size. it isn't just a little.

The new hole is MUCH bigger than the bolt size. If anything it needs a sleeve. I don't have access to a hydraulic press so pulling the old motor mount, removing the metal insert and putting it into a new bushing isn't an option. I annoyingly need a bolt on option, I do all my work in the alley...
