MP268/272 has almost the same specs as summit 1789, but they say that is for a 9:1 or higher compression engine. Why is that?

I see different opinions about this. The true is I don't have the experiencie to make my own thoughts if a port mismatch will actually affect performance. I have a pretty stock low compression 318 so I guess it won't feel the port thing. Can you pm me with pictures and price for that intake?

I don't know if it's nylon but it is the stock chain. Engine sounds and works excellent but will do a compression test next weekend and post it.

That's an awesome analysis! I'm really thinking of going on the Lunati, but now my question is if I would have to buy new springs with that cam. Been told I don't have to if I buy the 6900. Also thinking of getting a double roller timing chain, but if I go with the voodoo there's no money for it.

My engine (75' 318) is entirely stock except for dual exhaust, so I guess my CR is like 8.5:1. Also I'm not sure wich gears I have but maybe they are 2.76 (741 case). Dart 66, automatic 904 transmission. As I said before, just want the best cam I can get for a 2bbl between those two summit...
