I have to replace my old single-field alternator and I was looking at getting a more modern mini alternator after I read some posts here about guys using them. Who out there is using mini alternators, and what has been your experience with any issues, ease of installation and reliability?

I replaced the old cast iron intake manifold with an Edelbrock Airgap and carb - I have a working performance indicator (vacuum gauge), but there’s no place to connect it to the intake. Can it be connected directly to the vacuum nipple on the Edelbrock carb?

I’ve got a Eddie Air Gap intake and while making some mods and adjustments to throttle cable I may have dropped a small (1/4”) washer into the heater channel gap Is there any chance the washer could get sucked into the engine or damage anything? Pic for reference TIA

The Haynes manual for 67-76 Dart, Valiant, Barracuda, Duster, Demon has no info on the 8 1/4 rear end. What in tarnation is that about? It’s got to be the 2nd most used rear after the 7 1/4 ??

I’ve been reading FABO and getting plenty of opinions, but very few actual numbers, so... Does anybody know the weight difference between a complete 8 3/4 rear with Mopar disc conversion and an 8 1/4 with drums setup? Both are A body, all stock Mopar parts and big bolt.

Was making an odds and ends things the Barracuda needs and noticed the seat hinge covers need replacing. Interior and Seats are green, covers and carpet black. Shouldn’t the covers be the same color as the seat not the carpet? Just looks kinda strange with green seat and black hinge cover...
