There is a difference for sure. The LA blocks iron boss sticks out about 0.100" more than the Magnum blocks so the Mag plate will have a gap around the big circle on a LA block. And the answer on the right angle adapter is NO plate!!!

That adapter plate needs a lot of work. It has 4 SMALL 3/16's holes. Needs 4 more larger holes drilled in between them. Make all 8 holes 3/8 inch.
