    Power steering pump, or gear/box?

Generally if the pump was the problem you would feel it in both directions as the pump does not know which way you are turning. This could be either a steering box or if a 4WD truck take a look at the universal joint on that side, if they are binding up it can create issues like this.

    Odd Power Steering Pump?

This is not an OEM gearbox, cores are hard to come by for rebuild so many of the "parts store" brands that traditionally have offered re-manufactured gearboxes have gone to offshore sourcing (China), this is a fairly new import and time will tell if they nailed it or failed it.

    Borgeson box help

Quick thing you can look at to verify if you have a Saginaw pump would be the pressure hose connection. If it is on the back of the pump it will be a Saginaw pump. The 925113 has the correct hose fittings for our box to a Saginaw pump but we have not done any first hand fitment with the slant 6...

    Will one of these work?

The straight coupler will not give you the length you need to make the connection. The universal joint part #013464 will have the proper 3/4-36 spline for your manual box and a 3/4 smooth bore for the shaft, the smooth end will need to be welded. You will need 1.5" between the shafts for proper...

    Greetings A Body Members

You can do a couple things here, we offer joints that are 3/4 smooth that you can weld to your shaft or joints that are 3/4"DD that would require you to grind two flats on the shaft to turn it into a DD profile. Your manual steering box is a 3/4"-36 spline. A joint 3/4"-36 X 3/4" smooth is our...

    Power steering bracket question

Pumpkinduster, We use a much heavier 3/8" plate to manufacture our bracket rather than thinner stamped metal bits. This eliminates the need for additional pieces and simplifies installation. This bracket must be used with a Saginaw style pump with two mounting locations on the back of the reservoir.
