You can see my shifter, do I need the handle? If the brackets are for the handle, then I don't need them, unless I need the handle.

Classic Auto Air - 1973 Duster - Fan switch help

Yes, the first pic is the switch from the kit, had to make it fit in there and then add some screws to the side to hold it in there (I think I also put some glue on the sides to help). Just make sure you have it positioned the correct direction for the front (Hi, Fan, Off), I had it backwards...

Classic Auto Air - 1973 Duster - Fan switch help

Oh the only thing they could have done better was the connection with the arrow, they could have bent that at 45 or 90 instead of sticking straight up in the engine compartment, but other than that I love it! Here are the before and after photos.

Classic Auto Air - 1973 Duster - Fan switch help

Cable ties. Lots of them! :) no, I didn't need anything that was not included. The only issue was my 73 was not an option for the kit, so I got the 72 one and tweaked it for the dash. Things are a bit odd when sliding levers and such, but I live in Las Vegas, so I am good with it!

    1973 340 Duster Carb question

I do prefer Holley, Proform, never had before, I tried messing with it, with no luck, plus without the choke and it being 28 degrees, it takes a minute. ;) I went ahead and got a 670 Holley ordered, so let's see what that does.

    1973 340 Duster Carb question

yeah, I think once I settle on a carb, I will have to do the compression test to get fine tuned. We are at about 2000' here in Vegas. Yes it is a 4 speed.

    1973 340 Duster Carb question

    1973 340 Duster Carb question

Except that the engine is original and matches tranny, so i want to keep it that way. Just tune it to be more street than 1/4 track.

    1973 340 Duster Carb question

Well, I prefer Holley as I am not all that knowledgable about these Proforms and there is not tuning information on them anywhere I can find, including calling the manufacturer. Plus, I was told I should bring it down to a 6xx something.

    1973 340 Duster Carb question

So, I bought this 73 duster and here is all I know about the engine in the images. It came with a Proform 750 (Pro-x images) carb on it, but it was also used on the strip exclusively. I want to be able to drive it not race it. What size carb should I be looking at? Any recommendations on...

    1973 Duster 340 Torsion Bars - recommendations

Yeah they are not flat side down on both ends, with the back sitting flat on concrete, front is turned. But the PST 1.03's I had also had a turn at 20 degrees, I just ordered the sway away 1.08's and they are spec'd at 15 degrees, so maybe that would allow me to slide in with LCA at about 4-5...

    1973 Duster 340 Torsion Bars - recommendations

So I just pulled the Drivers side one out of the LCA and tried to get to the next HEX and it would end up at 6 o'clock to put bar back in. Firstly, I took out the adjust bar and screw and then turned the head of it down until the bar started to go in and I think it would be next to impossible to...
