The title of this thread is What Headers Work but the responses have been focused on what headers fit. I would be curious if anyone has any performance info they can post. For me the TTIs were not the greatest on the dyno. Kory

mikesduster, I used an engine dyno because I had a host of changes I wanted to try and it was easy to do without the rest of the car in the way! I don't know where you are in CT but I used a guy in New Milford, CT. Kory

My LM23HOR AM thumbwheel radio plate says Chrysler Solid State (not Dart) - but I saw one that did say Dart. I am not sure what it should be .... can anyone with a 1970 AM in their Dart tell me what yours says? Thanks, Kory

Mine cleared - no problem.

My issue was not the 4" stroke but the 4 bolt caps....

Perhaps none of the current MSD distributors use bushings to limit advance however the one I am using does use bushings. Attached are the cover sheet and page 5 of the manual (showing the different bushings). Yes - it is old! Kory

Doug, After the filter there is a thermostat and then the two lines go over the radiator support to a cooler (-: The tank holds pressure for starting and in case there is an "issue". Kory

Doug, I have tried 4 or 5 different housings with different cars - I have not had any bad luck with any but my sample size is obviously small. I think the bigger issue is deciding on what kind of lines you would like to use and the routing - many choices and options depending on your needs...

I decided to go with a tray withh a 4" stroke - no clearance isue there.... but because of the main caps it needed some "adjustment". Kory

mopardude318, Nice setip. Interesting ... I think your setup has less cubes (I am ~423 - 4" x 4.1") but the rpm HP peak is very similar. I would have expected yours to peak at a higher RPM than me.... I guess it is all about the heads. Kory
