I'm in the process of cheaply restoring this Duster instrument cluster, and was initially super pleased with how Rustoleum chrome spray paint turned out. Then I touched it. All over the net I now see this stuff comes off super easy. Any pointers from folks that have tried it?

How in the heck did you get that Chrome? I'm working on restoring a Duster dash, and the best I've found so far is Chrome spray paint. Seems like re-chroming or buying a better cluster are the only options.
