Have you ever seen any Dart, Valiant, Demon or Duster with a rear window defroster?

My 70 duster was originally a gold duster package. It came with some options, sport front seat(head rest, arm rest), rear window defroster, rear speaker cutouts. Soon after I talked my mom into a 73 gold duster, none of the above, but map light, trunk light, glove box light. So I preceeded to...

What is this tool thread? Take a guess. Stump the Toolman!

That was my thinking, it would sure heat the copper quickly. Since it's for oxy/act. I've only used propane.

What is this tool thread? Take a guess. Stump the Toolman!

My nephew gave me this tip, but it doesn't fit my small victor mixing handle. Any ideas on what it fit & used for? I have my idea, but I want others input without me influencing.

How often do you drain your air compressor?

After neglecting my 60gal & acquiring pin holes in the bottom. which I fixed. Now draining is my new religion, installed 1/4" ball valve attached to poly tubing that goes out the wall vent. I find that draining after use is not enough. After use it takes a while for all the moisture to end up...

Regarding your last question, conduct a search on eBay. The listing might not mention your make of car, all you need is one that fits 5/16 tube.

You can see where the drill chuck would slip, & has worn down the input shaft. Turns a drill into a poor man's right angle tool, not very fun to use.

Im convinced there is so much bullshit with these companies Right stuff is a joke

My trans cooling lines from inline did that, very easy to unbend.

    Cruising legal in California?

We in modesto banned cruising back in 1990. That ban was just lifted this year. Despite what Newsome did most laws were city ordinances. Ours followed a different time line because of our connection to the movie american graffiti. Which led to a near 5 mile cruise on McHenry Ave. Ours was banned...

I think rusty's way is more economical. Here is my second & third attempt.

    Fuel hard line

No, that's what I am trying to copy. The double flair part starts to form before the initial flair has a line to form a barb.

    Fuel hard line

That was one of my attempts, does the tube stick out of clamp the same as double flair?
  17. dodgedude37

    Fuel hard line

Does anybody know how they form the end of the tube like this? I have tried several methods using my flairing tool, but I can't quite achieve this shape. Is there a different mandril I don't know about?

    K frame confusion

As mentioned earlier the K unit was swapped as a unit, that includes steering linkage.

    K frame confusion

I think your first assumption is most likely, the bolts mounting the box felt like factory tight,if you know what I mean. I am just glad I paid attention to the details or I would have purchased the wrong kit to restore the power steering.
  22. dodgedude37

    K frame confusion

Read my post I swapped the entire K frame as a unit, steering box, disc brakes,& vacuum power & master.cyl. & proportioning valve. I did not mix & match. That's why the confusion the manual box on the 73 was 1 1/8.

    K frame confusion

Back in time I wanted large bolt pattern on my 70 duster which started as a 4 wheel drum no power. I had access to a 73 3 speed 318 duster, swapped out k frame & rear end. So now power front disc no power steering. Now at my senior age I want the power steering back. Confusion starts when...

    Timing mark

I have found I can't use my sheetmetal timing mark, with the water neck on the passenger side. So am I correct in assuming the keyway on the crank is clocked the same, & the difference is the mounting of the outer part of balancer, & the method of crank manufacturing?
