Put the tranny on the table to adjust bands and valve body. I never used a fixture. Maybe I am old school:) Working on cars 50 plus years.

I have a 30x45x18 building. I was talked into a 22x12 single door. I hate the single door and would never recommend one. You are better off with two doors and a man door.

Those lifts are not overheat. They are chain or cable guided with a floor plate. Try removing a tranny with a floor plate. And the unground lifts are very expensive. 14 feet is the lowest to go with a twin post lift.

if you want to ever install a lift minimum height must be 14. I have 20 foot ceiling with one lift. My lift is 12 foot.

I got two quotes a few weeks ago on a 30x30 six inch deep for 10-11k. Another guy quoted me for the same concrete 18k. But the size he wants at 50x50 he should go 8 inches deep. And if I were doing this today go 14 H feet doors for heavy equipment.

That is great advice. Built a 30x45x20 high. Not big enough. Now the price of a 30x30x16 is close to 50k. Yikes. Paid 41 k for the 30x45 in 2018.
