here is a article DD did about /6 blocks. http://www.slantsix.org/articles/dutra-blocks/slant-blocks.htm i found it very informative about the blocks. i have some sources on some slants but no numbers off the blocks yet. if i were you i would weigh them and go with the lighter of the two.

i guess that depends, i found a local Criags ad for a /6+trans for $450 obo. TBH i would start at $200, taking into account it may need a rebuild. i would pay more if is the aluminum version of the A727, but that is just me.

hawt ride! what year is it? i keep wanting to get either a 66 or 67 with a /6.

does any one know then, if a the lenses can be rotated to work for either side? ie the right rotated to mount in the left side?

hmm not getting forum updates, of all the tail-light stuff i found on ebay. the repo lens were not in the list, i got used ones with the trim piece. thanks for the links, will check them out.

any chance you could pull the ignition from the column, as well as the door locks? do you have the key for it? how much for shipping to 78613 for that if you might be able to figure it out. as well as the grill if still for sale, right now just a feeler.

if they are still there, i would like the tail lights and the front grill.

thanks guys, i will have to transpose the fender tag to paper. i tried to write it down but couldnt make some of it out either, i will see what i can do tonight. yes, it has a vinyl top on the car, that is tan. i only got one side mirror on the driver side. there is also chrome molding on...

why not try rejetting the 1920 or is it something else about the carb that doesnt "tweak" well.. i bought cause from reading else wear it is suppose to be better for gas milage. guess i will see about that, i think the rebuildt one on my duster now is a carter, need to check on that.

yea i just got a 1bbl ,1920 off the bay for $41 for a /6.

@Ted any other info you can provide? i found that but well you see, it doesnt cover anything past 1974....
