Has anyone tried Eastwood 135 amp mig welders

I have no knowledge of the Eastwood welders, but if it is a re-branded Lincoln SP135 I've had one for a number of years. Good little machine. It has infinite controls for the wire feed and amps, and it is 110v so you can plug it in almost anywhere. It will not weld really thick stuff but if you...

    360 Pistons

I used Speed Pro H116CP hypers in my 360, seem to remember them being down in the hole .017 in my uncut block. Have had no problems with them but the car has sat way more than it has moved.

    OT Dodge Warlock question

Here is some info on Warlocks. The Warlock package was a trim and equipment package available on any short bed utiline 1/2 ton truck. Warlocks exist with every engine, trans, both 4X2 and 4X4. Black was the most popular color followed by green then red and orange, there are other colors but...

Look what my b***ard brother found!

That is a score! Yesterday I looked at a clapped out '72 Duster that the guy wants $5000 for. Even though the interior is in pieces, I'd rather work on that than a rusty, dented exterior. Plus that color combo is one of my favorites.

Anyone dropped cable and gone with a digital antenna?

I have never had cable in this house (13 years) keeps me focused on doing stuff that needs to be done and working on my projects. That said I have a Terk antenna that I love. Digital stations come in great and in hi-def. Here is a link to Amazon, way cheaper than Best Buy Amazon.com: Terk FDTV1A...

    Any members in Detriot.

It has a 318 in it, I picked up a 360 to drop in it before I actually had the truck in my possession. When I got the truck and dug through the glove box what do I find but the paperwork for the remaned engine that was installed 19k miles ago. :blob: As soon as I get some time I'm swapping out...

    Any members in Detriot.

I've got a '79 Warlock II, and you are right it is very hard to document them. About the best you can hope for is the order form, the build sheet, and the under hood equipment sticker(s). Chrysler record keeping was poor in the late 70's. It is known how many pink 4 speed 340 Swingers were made...

    Pick Up Truck Forum?

I would be interested. Every time I turn on my computer I come here and the truck section on another Mopar site. In recent years I've worked on my Warlock more than my Dart.

    Any members in Detriot.

You got it right, "was a dealership on Gratiot Ave" sorry to tell you that they did not survive the dealership consolidation brought about by the bankruptcy. But if it makes you feel any better, they wouldn't have even had the 1977 truck parts catalog, let alone any records on your Warlock. What...

10 inch brake drums on my D100

You are in luck as those bars are the most common ones you will find on RWD Chrysler cars, trucks, and vans. Cudamark is right in that you should bring one of yours to compare, look at Diplomats, New Yorkers, etc. Any Mopar with 10 inch brakes will have them provided the PO didn't toss 'em. good...

    rod cap oil slot?

Fishy is right. But don't just think that if there are no oil slots / holes that you can put the rods in either way. There will be a wide chamfer on one side of the rod's big hole and a small chamfer on the other side. The large chamfer faces the shoulder of the crank, small chamfers face each...

Where was all my FABO peeps at the WPC???

Sorry, I was there but I was looking at parts not at / for people. I find that if I spend too much time bench racing the part that I was looking to buy walks away in someone else's arms. Also that place was a zoo! I like the set up at the college so much better, trying to pack that much stuff...

    NP435 to A833OD Questions

You really need the 833 OD bell and the 10 inch clutch and flywheel. Mixing, matching and fabricating could work, but it sounds like you have most of the right parts already.

    Ball Bearing mistery

If it is a ball bearing and not a cylindrical bearing it did not come out of the rear sprag. That being said I vote valve body, how that is possible I don't know. Did you take the plate off the VB while it was still bolted up to the trans?

    1970's Dodge Trucks ...Question

I'm going to take a guess that the fiberglass you see on the fenders is from an old repair. Probably from about the time it had the custom stripes painted. Not having a full length bumper on a stepside makes those fenders easily damaged.

    plumbers: help! faucet ?

I have a Delta that has been in the kitchen for the last 33 years, it looks like hell but it still works and does not leak. I would like something similar but I refuse to slap a $90 Delta on a Quartz counter top with an under-mount stainless sink. I want something that is going to last another...

    plumbers: help! faucet ?

I understand about getting what I pay for. That is why I'm asking this question. The faucet I'm looking at is a KWC. The best price I've found is $500 give or take. The one on the bay is $269. I'm not talking about rigging something just to save 20 bucks.

    plumbers: help! faucet ?

I'm shopping for a new faucet for the kitchen remodel. I don't want a pull down sprayer nor even a sprayer at all, call me old school. I found a faucet I like, and i even found it cheap on eBay. But it has a side sprayer. Can I delete the side sprayer? Parts are available, they sell the same...

    flywheel identification

Well, not a 11 inch flywheel that is balanced for a 360. OP wrote that his had three 1 1/8 dimples drilled in it. But a neutral balance 11 inch unit from say a 318 should be the same as a B or RB 143 tooth 11 inch flywheel. A neutral balance 10.5 inch 130 tooth flywheel is the same small block...

    flywheel identification

It sounds like you got yourself a 360 flywheel out of a truck. Some trucks came with a HD 11 inch 143 tooth flywheel for use with the New Process 435 4 speed.

Need tech help w/ 2007 Ram 1500 fr brakes(long read)

Every few months I get a mailer from my dealer about the specials they are running on service. These always mention a $99 dollar brake job*. The asterisk is printed on the flier, and at the bottom of the flier the * is explained: Brake pads and inspection, resurfacing of rotors is extra. All...

    440 78 truck???

If you are lucky and it is still there the metal tag will be on the core support on the drivers side. And if you are really lucky there will be a paper equipment tag glued to the underside of the hood. The tag will not have a breakdown of options, just the VIN, cab, wheel base, and paint code(s)...

    440 78 truck???

The VIN tag should be on the drivers side door or on the door pillar. There also should be a small tag on the radiator core support, but it will not look like a standard fender tag you are used to seeing on a car. Decode the VIN here: http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-45062.html

70 Dart Swinger guage cluster removal???

Remove the wiper switch, the headlight switch knob, make sure that the wiring harness is unhooked from the back of the cluster (there is a little loop on the back of cluster). Remove all the lights from the back of the circuit board. If you feel yourself getting frustrated, take a break, and try...

    Silver paint with red interior

A couple of years ago I parted out a 68 Formula S car, silver, red interior. I sat in it before tearing it apart and thought "This was once a beautiful car, what a great color combo" Red guts has my vote.

    Why cars rust

About 12 years ago I saw a 1971 Duster for sale in Warren MI. Slant 6, auto, rubber floor, stripped down car. The owner was outside and I got the story on the car. He was an engineer and the car was a bet, he bet his friends that he could keep a car from rusting for 10 years. He told me that all...

    Deep tranny pans...

I'm running a 518 pan in my car, deeper than a MP pan, came painted, and cheaper too. Also put one on a buddy's truck trans that I rebuilt. Only bad thing is no drain plug.
