    .243 would be a great option for some reason.270 kicks like a mule mine has more felt recoil than the parent case 30-06. If the he has settled on AR platform 350 legend is really easy just need a barrel and the mags to switch a 5.56 to 350 legend

    Looks like a powder measure too me. There will be things in that set you will eventually want to upgrade like the scale digitals are nice. And if the primer tube and set up aren't there for the press no big deal Lee makes a nice cheap hand primer.

    Your current 318 must be really tired. My 90 ramcharger with a 318 does pretty good with 35's but it's no speed demon.     For 9mm I am happy with my take down ruger pc 9. I put the factory mag well adaptor in so I run glock mags easy to find reliable hi capacity
