    6 pack set up

I was wondering if anyone here has put a 6pack set up in a 340 Duster. I have a 73 and was considering doing this. If you have did you have to modify anything and what. Did you have to cut a hole in the hood at all or did everything clear just fine. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers...

    Rocky Start Resto..

Ian, That soft tar on the firewall should come off with varsal in a spray bottle and a soft tooth brush. Then wipe it off with a rag. Thats how im getting the undercoating out of the engine bay in the Diplomat. IF you're keeping the same color, don't press too hard as you don't want to...

    Imported from Detroit!!!

That would make a great upgraded option. You can't get a Road Runner or Superbee anymore, something stripped down and go fast. Or something like the FWD Daytonas/Chargers. Power everything is nice, but its adds weight and cost. I work at German auto dealer and anything over 12yrs old just...

    Imported from Detroit!!!

I would just like to see Chrysler come out with a small 4 cylinder car with a stick and 15" wheels and no frills. Something to compete against the Accent and cars like that. Something that is affordable all around.

    Imported from Detroit!!!

I was working at a Chrysler dealer when those first came out, still hate them. I like the new Challengers, the JKs are slowly growing on me (I've had 6 Jeeps and love them), like the 300s and the new Ram I would like even more if you could get a 2wd short box with a stick (I can't seem to find...

    Imported from Detroit!!!

I'm from Nova Scotia and I just saw the commercial yesterday here at work and I think its great. Its important to remember where it all started. Though the new 200 just looks like a rebadged crappy Sebring. I can't say there are many Mopars I would want to own these days.

    Dodge Shadow Front Suspension Question

Hey guys, I've got a 94 Shadow. Theres a noise in the front end, sounds like a bushing gone, but I've replaced most of them already, and when I've got it on the hoist, everything seems very tight. It only does it on a rough road so its not all the time. Any sugguestions as to what it might...

    Neon Roadster...

I had a 98 DOHC coupe 5spd, owned the car twice actually. Fun little car, great on gas, handles well. But when stuff starts to go, it all started at once. At least parts were cheap. Besides, the 2.2 I'm driving in my Shadow right now I think is a far more dependable motor.

    Neon Roadster...

Hey guys, a co worker of mine emailed me this link from a board he is a member of. Kinda cool except for the lame Honda front clip. http://www.customobsessions.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=34838

Ian, I can relate. I'm always on Kijiji, Craigslist (California & Oregon) and sometimes Ebay to see whats around. Not that I have anymore money or space for something else :) I'ts been pretty slow around here lately so I get all of that done at work! Matt

    CFB Trenton - Ontario, Canada

We had a car trucked from Los Angeles to Boston to my Aunt's in 98, flew down and drove home to Halifax. My friend has them trucked from California to New Jersy, flys down and drives them home. There are lots of deals out there. If you can get it trucked to the east coast you can just drive...

We've brought a car home from the States before with no issues and I have a friend locally who brings one home almost every other year. Neither of us has ever used a broker. Its really not that difficult.

First project buy - can someone help me with some advice and/or opinions?

I couldn't agree more either. There is something to be said for building the car yourself, or most of it and being able to say that when its finished. I'm just saying I won't do it a second time! Once is enough and I'm ok with that. But I would like another someday, either a car or truck and...

First project buy - can someone help me with some advice and/or opinions?

There are some great deals in California & Oregon and as long as you get a running car its not that expensive to ship it to the east cost. I'm in Halifax and we're doing a fair bit of panel replacement on an H code 73 Duster. All depends on what you want and how much work you're willing to put...

beaters what options do us mopar lovers have?

1994 Dodge Shadow 2.2L auto. Bought it in January for $350, just rolled 99,000kms and I'm still into it for under $1500 with buying some tires and doing some minor repairs and maintenance. Not bad for almost a year of driving. Its not powerful, but its dependable and bullet proof.

    73 Duster 340

Thanks guys! Not going to be working on it very much until the new year. Passenger side quarter is next and a floor pan or two. Thats pretty much all of the panels that need replacing. Hoping to have it on the road next fall. It will most likely be in primer, but everything else will be done.

What car got you into Mopars?

As a kid I knew Dad always had Dusters, Satelittes, Superbees and Dusters.... but wasn't REALLY into them at that point. Then when I was 14 I saw the first episode of Nash Bridges and I was hooked! Thats the car I want. Currently restoring a 73 340 Duster with Dad that I'll never part...
