    Teenagers / Classic Cars ??

My son expressed an interest in getting an older car - we let him drive our newer cars whenever he has to. So he decided on a Duster - found a project car and after awhile realized that we were way over our heads. So we salvaged what could (had a parts car as well) and we found a slant six 73...

    Water Pump Leak

Aloha, We are in the process of freshing up a 360 for my son's Dart and ran into a weird problem - it appears that we have a small water leak from the passenger (side in the vicinity of the where the Alternator bolts in. It is not the bolts - tripled checked and used thread sealer on them. Is...

    Motor Mounts

We have a 360 in a 68 Dart that was originally a slant 6 car. We used a 71 Dart swinger K frame and some engine mounts we bought from O'Reillys but had to use some washers to get them to work. Engine also seems to sit low and centerlink clearance is marginal. My question is this - is there a...

    OIL and WATER !!

I snapped a rusted bolt in the engine block....I snapped only a few threads I believe off of one of the two long bolts that crank down the water pump. How long are these bolts usually? Is there anyway I can bypass taking it out since I am trying to avoid having to take off the timing chain...

    A Body Engine Mounts

Yes - they are in (if by this we mean the actual rubber mounts) regarding the Torsion Bars that would improve grand clearance some - but the other issue is the fan is just hitting the shroud - so I we are going to try and move it down slightly....

Yeah it is the Drivers side - I will look into truck mounts - right now I am considering using a spacer/washers to get the engine up enough - might not fix the header problem (they are very old anyway) Scott

    A Body Engine Mounts

We swapped a 71 K frame from a Dart 318 powered car into a 68 Dart that had a slant 6 in it. Bought a 360 (78 engine) and put it in and from all appearances it looks like it is sitting too low - we have been told this as well. We are getting some header scrapes and the fan is rubbing on the...

Hey everyone, Well my sons 68' dart recently leaked gasoline.......question is why?
