    Aluminum cylinder heads

Are there some of these aftermarket heads where you have to notch the block for valve clearance? That might be a factor in deciding which one as well.

    906 heads ported?

Yeah ok. I have some ported (allegedly) 452's on the cuda atm but there is a chunk missing out of where the rocker cover sits and they always leak. PITA to get to seal and have to redress it every so often.

    906 heads ported?

Yeah for sure. I have another set of 440 source heads for a 400 stroker build in the Charger but thinking of changing to the Trickflows for that one and put the Source heads on the 383 in the Cuda.

    906 heads ported?

How can I tell if the '906 heads I have are ported? The metal seems a bit thin between the ports. Any measurements I can take?

Advice small block K frame with Schumacher conversion mounts for a big block

I did a 383 in My '69 Cuda convertible, great upgrade from the 360, more torque. I added a Schumacher torque strap to the front of the motor as well. I definitely wish I had taken the cross member out and installed from the bottom. If you go to put it in and it doesn't fit, like I had to do a...

Fastback barracuda rear quarter window install.

How did you go with them? I know how hard they are to do in the Charger. Still can't get them to line up properly either. Also I used the cat whisker type and not the windscreen wiper rubber type, makes a difference. Use silicon spray to finish off and lubricate it, just check if the window tint...

A few pics of barracuda project.

There was a company that made aftermarket guage panels, I got one sent over. I don't know if they still make them.

    69 Barracuda dash pad

Nice one. What year is your car? Looks good with a white interior and the light blue carpet. Dash looks black in the photo or is it dark blue?

A few pics of barracuda project.

The guy I bought my Cuda from went and bought one of those.... go figure. I know which I would rather have. What are they worth now dare I ask?

    goin BB

My 2 cents - drop the K member and mount engine to K member first. Shove it under the car and bolt it in, lowering the body onto it. I did a 69 Cuda. Wish I did it that way for what it was worth. Looks easy doing it the other way but don't be fooled.

Looking awesome. Moving along fast now. It's good that you got in first into the shop too... probably helps. What's the car next to yours? Looks like a Nova or something?

    find my vert

If it was the original color it shouldn't be too hard to find, I haven't seen many in that color.

    find my vert

Wow, that would have to be the lowest VIN I have seen on a 69 'Vert. Mine is 130xxx and a slant six car, California car. I try and keep a mental note of some of these. I should actually sit down one day and catalog them. I'm not sure if there is a registry for them but that would be handy too.

    An Electrical Nightmare

X2. Unless the connectors are burnt or crusty and corroded you should be able to salvage the old harness. Of course, new wiring, connectors and new fuse's are piece of mind though...

Did Indy build the rest of the motor as well??

    An Electrical Nightmare

I recently used a Ron Francis kit for a B body. It comes with most of the stuff you would use for an A body including a new light switch and floor dimmer switch.

That would be sending the wrong feedback voltage back to the alternator to give it enough charge. Is the battery constantly going flat?

EFI fuel tank module for stock tanks

If anyone is interested they can try a Jakefab.com fuel puck which fits directly into the cutout of the Tanks Inc EFI tank cutout. I'm using one on a 69 Baracuda fuel tank and running the Holley Sniper EFI unit with a corvette fuel reg/filter. Works a treat!!
