    1968 Barracuda Fastback

I am selling my 68 Barracuda fastback located in San Antonio Texas 78247. If interested, contact by PM on this forum. It is just a roller, no motor,no trans, no interior. I am selling it as a parts car and wish to sell it as a package rather than cutting it up. The car does not have a title...

Whats it worth? 68 Barracuda Roller

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I thought it might be. I have a 68 Barracuda roller with really good sheet metal (Arizona car) , most of the trim pieces, pretty much zero rust, no interior at all, floor shifter, console and a few goodies like a 150 MPH instrument panel. I...

    Big Block into 1970 Swinger

All the above is good advice. I had zero experience but hung out at BigBlockDart.com to figure out how to do the same thing (almost) you're doing. From that site I found FABO. I have installed a 73 400 in a 72 Dart. I am currently using Schumacher mounts and 68 B body HP exhaust manifolds. I...

    440 in my 1986 Ramcharger

As far as putting that 440 in your Ramcharger, I say go for it. Tons 'o Torque! Should be a blast. I've wanted to find an old Ramcharger or Trailduster and drop in a big block for a long time. Good luck with the build!

    225 to 440 Swap!HELP!

I agree. Priced within reason too. I believe you can also use the B body HP manifolds on your swap as well. They worked great on my low deck swap. Better jump on it though.

    Thinking of going BB...

$2000 is awfully tight for a big block build. You're going to have to shave costs wherever possible to achieve this budget. Shop for the Schumacher kit. Look for a good deal. I think I paid $75 for them. B-body HP manifolds will work also in lieu of headers. I went the 451 route and I ain't...

    Mopar 383 help please

I'll chime in with a couple of ideas. The slow return to idle can sometimes be indicative of a vacuum leak. You can spray carb cleaner around the base of the carb and where the intake mates to the cylinder heads while its running. If the engine slows down or stumbles when you spray the carb...

Stealth heads vs Eddy performer rpm

My experience with the 440 Source heads has been good (although very limited) so far. The springs and retainers were changed because of the lift on the cam. This was recommended by 440 Source on their website. The heads appeared as advertised with no obvious flaws. They were given a once over by...

    MP purple camshaft

Haven't really had a chance to try this yet but its a Lunati 513/533. Its in a 451 stroker. 10:1 compression and 440 Source heads. The engine has been broken in and seems pretty snappy. I hope to have it on the road this summer...

    1967 valiant 440 swap

Anybody got a part number for these manifolds? I have done this swap several times and the best manifolds I have found are the ones from a 70s full size station wagon with a 400. The passengers side is an easy fit, and on the drivers side all you have to do is cut the bottom two inches off...

    Hello from South Texas

Fish fry sounds good! I've had the car about 2 years. I picked it up as a "roller" out of Arizona. No rust, body is reasonably straight. No engine/trans. I started working on it about a year ago. Picked up a 400 block and a 727. Bought a 440Source stroker kit (hence the 451) Got the machine...

    Hello from South Texas

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I've already found a wealth of tech stuff thats helped me on my way. Only have a handful of pic's. Here are a few I had handy, I'll try to find some more. The first few are the car pretty much the way it rolled off the trailer. The second batch are the block...

    Hello from South Texas

I've been browsing your site for a while and decided it was time to join up. I'm working (slooowwwlly) on a 68 Barracuda. Plans call for a low deck stroker (almost finished), 727, 8-3/4. Use will be street/cruise. I've already seen a lot of great posts with really helpful info. Look forward...
