    The bolts walked themselves away from the spring a bit as the plates bent. The spring pin is in the hole as it should be, and the plate is flush with the spring face itself.

    I would’ve been interested to see what they are too. 15 extra pounds shouldn’t bend them. The Calvert split mono u-bolt torque is 60-70.

    Winners circle photo from that last race. Had a trophy for the win, plaque for perfect light in competition, memorial trophy for best package, and my .000 time slip. The memorial is for a teenage daughter of a racer (Lexy) who lost her life to a drunk driver.

    For clarification, I don’t hate boxes. I’m considering throwing one in my car for next season just to try my luck beating up on them with their own toys. Here the foot brake guys run Sportsman class if they’re slower than 7.50 in the 1/8. I don’t think it’s fair to force mix any of the classes.

    It did work pretty good. I could only bring it up to about 2500 before overpowering the brakes. Before that I had the two step hooked to my brake light switch with a toggle to turn it on or off.

    Race 727 band adjustments

    Talked to my tranny builder. Snug the front band, and back off 1.5 turns. 1/4” space for the rear band. It’s still delayed between the 2-3 shift, but it’s been deadly consistent on the track. Just need to get through one more weekend after this :lol:

    It’s strange because mine doesn’t flare up. It just has a moment where it’s between shifts like a stock valve body. Feels like the 68rfe in my diesel shifting. It could be a VB problem as I’ve had trouble with it before. Coan made me a good converter, but their VBs suck.
