Honestly I dont see an advantage, or disadvantage, either way. It all comes down to what you have to work with and cost. If you have the slant k-member and and its cheaper than buying a bb k-frame and mounts Id just go with the schumacher mounts.

The tabs wouldnt have to be welded, they go on the lower shock bolt. Check out this page of Tonys thread (Vic Storm). IT has some nice shots on the tabs

With needles and ink not a gun lol I had done a few designs for my ex with our sons name and she picked 1 a while back. I finally gave in and did it for her. Ive always enjoyed tattooing as hobby but I only do a couple each year.

IMHO I think you can blame the economy above anything else. The sad truth is that right now there are plenty of $17k cars that you can pick up and they are turn key, no work needed. I know your Cuda has WAY MORE value but the bottom line is that you are selling to a much smaller and much more...
