I had the same problem with those spacers pushing the rocker to the side of the valve stem. Touched them up on a grinder until they were perfectly centered. Mopar engine builder advised that practice was commonplace. Hope he was right.

Yes I had to with my /6-rb conversion mounts. I also wish I had grinded out a little more as the clearance is very tight! Instructions were dead on, however I used a high volume pump and only widened my grinds very slightly

Do you know the length it should be? I have one in my garage that measures 52" from center to center of the u-joints. Not certain it came out of the Scamp, it may be out of a 440/727 1966 Charger with an 8-3/4 rear.
