FWIW..I'm using the XS282 in my 440 and it pulls like a freight train.My 440 is milder than yours,only 10.3 compression and smaller carb and older intake.

I like to Mopar 296/557 solid cam. It works well and makes good power. I went 11.30's in a 440 a body with 9.0 flat tops.

I have a brand new set of Pro Parts headers that are 2"into 2 1/8th tubing.Made for Bob Mazzolini by TTI. Very nice quality and they fit a big block well. I'm asking $800 plus shipping.They are semi fenderwell,and have good clearance.

BRAND NEW and never been on the car..a nice set of 2- 2 1/8th inch step headers for 383-440 in A Body Mopar. These headers are made by TTI for Bob Mazzolini and are MUCH nicer than the old Pro Parts headers were. Thicker flanges and tubing along with better fitment. $850.00 plus shipping...

They are nice heads and work fine for a street/strip and some all out racing.
