I went with high pressure Steel braided rubber lines on mine. They are easy to attach, and you can run them anywhere you want on the frame rails up to your tranny cooler.

i got a complete unit out of a 69 coronet R/T for $150, nd moved the perches in. I was getting custom wheels anyways, so i just made custom width steelies for the b-body diff. I think it is worth it.

I bought my girl (73 duster) when I was 15 and was my first car. She started as a 318-904-7-1/4 combo, which then got an 8-1/4, then a 360, then another 360, and I still have her 13 years later with a 451 stroker-727-8-3/4 and the second paint job I have done . I have been through 20 some odd...

they are awesome!..all you need is a stroker kit and yur set to go. You can get a relatively cheap 451 - 500 stroker and be rockin.

i built a streetable 451 with 10.5:1, aluminum heads , intake and headers and i am already in the 550 range with no turbo. Just some info for ya...I have seen a small block turbo setup that used manufolds upside down, so i don't see why it wouldn't work for a big block

personally, i don't like raised white letters. But to each their own...if you like em' it is yur car, who cares what others think about it

i put a 451 in mine and love it!..there is more room between the fenderwells than the taller 440, and the block is stronger. ....And it is just the coolness factor!ha

YA..sits a we bit high, but had to fit the 275/60-15s in there....when you see those out back and then hear the 3" pipes/ flowmasters, the sleeper attitude goes away pretty quick! haha

i put a 74' 727 form a truck in my duster and it bolted up, just needed the drive shaft shortened, and a different yoke from the 904

i run almost identical set-up as you except i have a 451 stroker, and the stock interior. Otherwise it is all the same, and i rolled a 12.5 @ 109 first time out (3:55 gear w/2500 stall). I am planning more gear and better ignition and am hoping for high 11's next summmer. I am running around...

First time at the track with my Big block and I Tore off a 12.501 @ 109 mph!..not bad with a 0.548 RT and Carb bogging issues!. It was awesome also how the track guy set me up with my Child hood love the General Lee!..he only ran a 14.87! no big deal

i did the same stripes on my 73' and the back panel was a pain in the C-U-Next-Tuesday ...so to speak!

VINYL?? i have used vinyl repair kits bought at a local auto parts store. i used a piece of color matched vinyl undernieth it then used the adhesive to bond the 2. i did this years ago and it still holds up. the rip was about an inch long.
