No this will not cause any codes. I have replaced a few tanks for this problem. It will only be a tank problem if it only happens right after fill up. Try not filling tank above 3/4 for the next few times,if the problem does not happen again with tank only 3/4 full then you know.

I have that cam in my 408. I run 3.55 rear gears with a 9.5 inch torque converter with 3200 stall. I mainly street drive it and it works good. When i was calling around on a converter everyone was between 3200-3500 stall. I am running 255-60-15 rear tires.

Here is a pic of the socket I use for that problem. I have the same headers on my car and I bought this socket just for that. I put socket on from under header tube and use a extension between valve cover and header tube.

Mike was very helpfull when i bought my stroker kit from him and worked with me through all of my questions.
