Did the original cars come with long wheel studs?

Did the seats have a gap between the upper and lower cushions or not?

I'd be most interested in the current "legal" racers. There are going to be a lot of variations in clone builds so seeing the legal ones would be a good measuring stick for new clone builds.

I'd like to see 2 areas: 1. Build specifics (I realize a lot of builders don't want to spill some secrets but there still should be some pics and details) 2. Pics of cars past and current. Who currently owns the original ones and who are racing any of the cars.

For all of the people (including me) that couldn't wait for this forum to be created there sure isn't a lot of info or pictures on here yet. There has to be build pictures even for the clones.

These headers and the Hooker ones I've seen did not have plates to bolt up to the reducers. If the original cars were required to have exhaust (per other posts), did all of the racers modify their headers?

That's the same car. It was also on several other sites including youtube. He did tell me it overheats in heavy traffic.

It also has a Hughesengines sticker under the hood.

It's for sale from a gentleman from Florida. According to him prior owners were from Texas and Alabama. There is a dealer tag from Georgia. According to the fender tag it was originally a 318 auto in forest green.

Does anyone know of past owners or history of this car?

I tried the heat method and soaking in cleaner, no good. It's not polished or anodized but I don't want it stained either. I'll try the avon product if I can find some.
