Yes, its chrome. Not sure about the corners but i think you can get them.

Thanks, MIke. I considered doing as you did and looking for a good used 67 gasket. But I opted for the 68 set up...found a nice molding set for $150. As fas the REAR set up..I bought the 68 gasket quite some time ago so it looks like I will have to use it. Still need to get the molding for it...

yep, that will be my quest now and I will get the Steele Rubber gasket(thanks! for the heads up). Have you heard of any welding necessary to install the clips?

Thanks, I do have the roof rail and door seals now, and I bought the rear window seal(gasket) a while back..i think it must be the 68 gasket as they dont make a 67 rear window seal either. Sure seems wierd that they dont seeing as how '67 was the first year for the 2nd gen Barracuda. I bet you...

Thanks for the replies guys. I asked the seller on ebay that redfish mentioned about a solution to my dilema and he sent me this message back: You need to find the actual moldings for 68-69. Not lock strip. Also, you'll need to weld in the posts around the window frame where the clips go on...

Out standing 65 you have there! Its nealy identical to the one I owned when i was 19. Its out of my price range at the moment but i would love to have it.8)

Good questions. I will take it down the track for its maiden voyage and as long as I have the car, i will be the one to drive it. As far as class to run it in, I will just race anybody that wants to race..heads up. The car would fit into several ET classes, i think.

That is Viper Red! Yes, it does look "orangey" in direct sunlight. Thanks! i really like it too...i thought of many colors, including graphics, but nothing seemed "right". This red is one of the most expensive paints out there, but i think it was worth it! ;)

Made some progress on the car...It has been a year and altho not alot has been accomplished they were things that required time consuming fitment. The exhaust has been under way for a while, we now have headers and a complete 4" "system" ready to bolt in: Got some plug wires...

Can you get the motor into a spare room in your house? I woud'nt attempt to do it in the drive way..too many opportunities for dirt and contamination. Otherwise, have a reliable shop do it for you, i think 3K should cover it.
