You're gonna have to unbolt the column so you can pull back a little bit to disengage the splines on the coupler. Put something on the driver's seat that will support the steering wheel, that way you won't have to undo any wiring. It just needs to come back a few inches.

those were the hot tip in the days before drag radials were introduced. I'll give another vote for the M/T's. Have em on my duster and very happy with them. We'll see how good they are when the new bullet goes in this spring.

Every aftermarket "gas saver" is just junk. Just like all of the magic pills to lose weight. If you're really into saving gas, put fuel injection on your car. It will beat a carb hands down for that. Unfortunately, you'll never get enough savings to pay for itself.

I bought a 3/8" sender from Year One for my duster and its as inaccurate as all hell. But by now I know how it works so I still can use it. At least till the fuel cell goes in.

At least you aren't in the big "state run hotel" that Marquette is famous for.
