    Pocono Road Course Video

The Cuda is a street car. I can pull 1.1 g on the turns, the Tesla is pulling 1.6 and has a much better driver. He is typically 20% faster on the lap times. He has 16 inch carbon fiber rotors, mine are 11" steel, 500 HP vs 430, and a lot of computer help vs an inexperienced Grandpa, LOL.

    Pocono Road Course Video

Went last June, had 8 sessions, tons of fun. Two hours of total track time was great. Everybody else dropped out by the last session, so it was just me and my son. He followed the Cuda for a lap at 7:15, 11:30 and 16:00 minutes on the video. He is driving a Tesla 3 set up for the track...

Members with 4 wheel disc systems: Can you lock your wheels?

I found the EBC yellow brake pads grab a lot better than the typical street pads. They work on the street while cold but are good on the track when hot.

Gas gauge goes UP when I press the pedal???

There is a 5 volt regulator attached the back of the fuel gauge. It supplies the power to all of the gauges. The OEM version has points and can act up. That combined with a grounding problem can make strange things happen like this. It's easy to check the grounds under the hood first. The...

    Troublesome Oil Leak

I just finished chasing the same kind of leak. After doing all the easy stuff it turned out to be the china wall. Put in a new intake manifold gasket and sealed the front and back really well and finally it stopped leaking oil.

    New hotchkis springs

Firm Feel has a set of kicker shocks that mount almost parallel to the ground. They dampen axel wrap during power and under hard braking. I have used them for drag racing, road courses and because they don't restrict suspension travel they work great on the street. It's an easy installation...

Pocono Road Course 02 July 2022

It's a Duster scoop but I like it on there. My son's Tesla 3 has modified suspension, brakes and better wheels and tires, but the drive train is bone stock. He has driven it as hard as you can for two years now with no maintenance on the drive train. Just plugs it in to charge. He was...

Wow, Willow Springs sounds great. Pocono has several different layouts. Some have one of the banked turns that NASCAR uses. Planning on adding more camber and Dr. Diff rear discs.

    1968 Dart A/C Conversion question

You will also need to tint the windows. They act like magnifying lens for the sun if they are not tinted. On a sunny day the heat will radiate through the convertible top. I made a headliner that cuts that down and the wind noise too.

    QA1 adjustments

You may have to take some of the positive caster out. Lengthening the support strut will move the tire back and give you more clearance. As long as you match the other side it will work OK. Should get 2 to 3 degrees of positive caster, which is a big improvement over the stock negative...
