    904 Conundrum

So the 904 in the '73 Valiant was toast, or so I thought. I was missing Reverse and Third gear, the most important two. I knew the 904 in my '72 Valiant was good (both are 225 SL6ers) and the '73 was my daily driver, so a quick swap fix, right? :angryfir: Wrong. :banghead: The swap was more of...

    Offy dual intake question

So I've finally tracked down a 2x1bbl Offy intake for the old slant, I just LOVE the way they look. But it is listed as being for the 60-68 170 and 225. What is the reason, if any, of it not being able to go on my 73 Slant?

Locked my keys in the trunk.

I've gotten pretty quick at using a coat hangar to open my vent windows and slide my arm in to unlock the doors. I haven't had the trunk problem yet, nor have I ever put down the keys to my '72 Valiant, TNAILAV :)

Well I've been asking around as to what the timing should be set on my 73 stock 225 and have gotten many different answers. Can anyone tell me what they think my timing should be set at and Why I'm getting so many different opinions?

    carb problems?

Hi NewGuy, the links slantsixdan provided are invaluable, I rebuilt my 1920 the past weekend using only the .pdf file, lots of pictures taken for reference, and a half dozen baggies to keep myself organized. Stripped it, cleaned it, assembled It, a shot of ether and good to go... but I'd...

    Alternator Overcharge

I had been in and out of my 73 Valiant 225 all day yesterday running errands and on my way home i start my car and notice my dash lights are VERY bright and my alternator guage is maxed out above 40+ if I have any kind of acceleration going on. If its idleing, the guage reads straight up, but...
