Had the same type problem. turn out to be the High beam floor switch.

Duh, didn't even think about look at the tag. Yes they are posted there. Checked my 71 for the same but no markings on it. Thank you for enlightening me. Joseph

Sorry, but I perfer to sell the complete car(s). Wife say "they" have to go.....I failed to mention, a narrowed 8 3/4 - 46 inches out side axle flange to flange goes with the package also.
