    Can i use a LA timing chain set in a magnum engine?

    The magnum engines have a short snout on the cam Because they use an electric fuel pump no provision for fuel pump eccentric. That is why those double rollers might not fit. LA engines have a longer style, They need to use older la timing cover.

    Have a 2003 Dodge Durango 4.7 95,000 miles on it synthetic oil haul the racecar open trailer no problems. Gas mileage is about 16 miles per gallon but 9 miles per gallon went towing the trailer .
